Robert Harrison (from the FC&R days) was producing the album and asked me to play bass on a couple songs. Miranda Dodson was also a music friend, so it was great to work with both of them on this record. I played bass on “Prodigal” and the Jimmy Cliff cover, “Sitting in Limbo.” “Prodigal” was recorded at Robert’s home studio and “Sitting in Limbo” was recorded at Lars Goransson‘s Sounds OUTrageous with Lars engineering. If memory serves me, I used my ’73 Fender Precision bass on both tunes. Working with Robert has always brought out the best in my bass playing. Thank you, Robert!
